✅ Step 1: Access the Funnel Configuration Interface
Open the Matrikon OPC Funnel interface from your desktop or web browser, depending on how it is installed.
In the left-hand side panel, navigate to the following path: Matrikon OPC Funnel > Advanced Options > Logging Options.
Inside the Logging Options panel, locate the setting labeled Log Level.
Change the Log Level setting to High to enable detailed event logging and diagnostic information.
✅ Step 2: Restart the Matrikon OPC Funnel Services
Close the Matrikon OPC Funnel configuration panel if it is still open.
Open the Windows Services panel. You can do this by pressing
Win + R
, typingservices.msc
, and pressing Enter.Locate the service named Matrikon OPC Funnel in the list.
Right-click the service and select Restart.
This step is necessary for the new logging settings to take effect.
✅ Step 3: Locate the Funnel Log Files
In this step, use the Windows File Explorer to navigate to the following path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\MatrikonOPC\Common
Inside this folder, you will find a file named:
PSTCFGMatrikon.OPC.OPCFunnel.1.LOG
You should send this file to the support team so they can analyze the log details.
✅ Important Note:
It is not recommended to leave the log level set to High for an extended period, as it can consume a significant amount of memory and system resources.
Once you've extracted and saved the log file, we recommend changing the log level back to Low to ensure optimal system performance.
