The MTKAuthorize.exe tool can create a new AuthorizeRequest.MTK file. But if you don't enter a TR number, the file will only be good for an evaluation license.
The Authorize.MTK or AuthorizeRequest.MTK default location should be similar to C:\Program Files\Matrikon\OPC\<OPC Server>\
Either Scada Modbus or IEC61850 should be the OPC Server.
If this is a new install, you can create a new AuthorizeRequest.MTK file but to be a permanent license you'll need to enter a valid TR number.
If this is an old install, you can De-License the software using the MTKAuthorize.exe tool. That will cause the server to stop working every 2 hours and you'll need to restart the services to get to work again.
If these files are not available, you may provide us with the hostname where the license was originally installed. or if the customer can provide a list of possible hostnames, we can check if there are any records with a license attached to any of them. Also, an SO or TR number would help as you already know.
