If you see the “Not valid license found” message in the Project Console App on Windows when trying to start the SCADA server, please check the following points:
✅Steps to Resolve
- Verify the license in the Project Console
- Open the License section inside the Project Console.
- Confirm that a valid license is installed and active.
- Check your license in the Customer Portal
- Log in to customer.atvise.com
- Navigate to the License section and find the license generated for your server
- Compare the license details in the portal with the license currently loaded on your SCADA server.
- Validate the hardware code
- The first line of the license text contains the hardware code.
- Make sure it matches the hardware code shown in your server configuration. If they don’t match, the license will not be valid.
- Reapply the license if needed
- If the license text on the server has been altered or is missing, copy the correct license from the customer.atvise.com portal.
- Paste it into the License section of the Project Console and try to start the server again.
- Check for hardware changes
- If the hardware code in your server is different from the one in the customer portal, it may be due to a hardware change (e.g., replacing a network card, upgrading RAM, or other hardware modifications).
- In this case, you will need to follow this article: 3. Transferring & Upgrade atvise Licenses Between Computers
- Contact Support if the issue persists
