How to open atvise builder when having 4K resolution monitor

If you are using a 4K monitor you might have an issue visualizing the atvise builder buttons. In case you see the icons grouped something like the image below here you can find a workaround.

In atvise 3.6 onwards there is a command-line option named "-highDPI" introduced that might solve this issue.

There are two ways to implement this:

1. Adding -highDPI to the shortcut/link in the start menu.

For that please open your start menu and find the entry for atvise builder. Right-click on that entry and select "Open file location" as below:

Following these steps, a Windows Explorer window will open where the start menu shortcuts are placed.

Here you need to right-click once again on the entry atvise builder and select "Properties" in the appearing context menu. Finally, we have arrived at the location where we can add that command-line option. Please see here a screenshot:

In the line "Target" you just need to add -highDPI. Please be aware of the space right before the newly added -highDPI.
Clicking OK, will close the dialog and save the changes. You now can also close the Windows Explorer window which opened.

Unless you install another version or reinstall the current version the setting is now in place and can be "activated" by running the atvise builder from the start menu. Please keep in mind, that this only works if you run the atvise builder from the start menu. It will not work if your start the atvise builder from the project console.

2. Run atvise builder from a command prompt

For this please execute the command "cmd" from either the start menu or the run dialog. Please see the screenshot for advice:

After successfully executing the command you should get a window similar to this (except for the language, user name and size):

Here please type in the path where the atvise builder is installed and add the command line option. The default path would be "C:\Program Files\atvise\atbuilder.exe". So the whole command looks like this:

Now just hit enter and the atvise builder will start with this option enabled.

With both ways described, you still need to connect to the atvise server from the atvise builder. This can be done from the menu option "builder" -> "Connect to sever". The needed Server address should already be entered in the text field. The default address for an atvise server running on the same machine is: "opc.tcp://localhost:4840". Please adjust accordingly.
