In some Windows OS when Tunneller is installed, it does not get all the rights and user privileges.
If Tunneller shows you a Key File Acces Dialog Box at the time to open it, please just click on "Acept" to each dialog box. A problem will appear with the text: "Configuration file does not exist: %CommonApplicationData%\Matrikon\UA\UAWrapper..." etc.
Apply the following workaround.
- Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Matrikon\OPC\Tunneller
- To the folder “Client-Side Gateway” right click\properties, in the security options you should add the admin local user and grant him all the rights. After this click on "Ok".
- Go inside the folder “Client-Side Gateway” and apply the same last step for the folder "security".
a. Advance options\Change propietary\advance options, look for the admin local user, enable the check called 'change propietary in all the subfolders ...' and grant to the user all the rights.
4. Apply the same steps on the following files and folders:
File: keyFile.mtk
Location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Matrikon\OPC\Tunneller\Client-Side Gateway\security
Folder : Server-Side Gateway
Location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Matrikon\OPC\Tunneller
Folder : security
Location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Matrikon\OPC\Tunneller\Server-Side Gateway
File: keyFile.mtk
Location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Matrikon\OPC\Tunneller\Server-Side Gateway\Security
For the following folder you need to enable the view for hidden files.
Folder: UAWrapper
Location: C:\ProgramData\Matrikon\UA
