Running multiple projects

Sometimes you may need to run two or more different projects in the same atvise server at the same time. By default, you can run one project in atvise, but if you have developed more projects and they are saved in an accesible folder, they can be run. In our case, projects folder are in the same atvise installation directory:

Remember: the project file is the nodes.db file, so each one of these folders contains their specific nodes.db file.

In order to run two or more projects at the same time, just follow these simple steps:

Step 1: In the project console, load the projects you would like to run (server must be stopped in this step):

Step 2: Run your default project

Default ports for the default project are:

OPC UA: 4840

HTTP Port: 80

HTTPs Port: 443

Step 3: Run other projects

Click on the Advanced tab --> select one of your projects --> right click --> Start in Console Mode:

Change the ports for this project to avoid conflicts with the default one (and others):

Step 3: Test it. Run two web browser tabs, one pointing to the default project (port 80) and the other one pointing to the second project (in this case, port 803):
