Download and Import


Please make sure to follow these steps in order to configure a display with the basic elements.


  1. Download Dashboard Library
    • Login to files.vesterbusiness.com with you partner credentials.
    • Locate the files in
      • atvise configurations
        • Dashboard_Library
          • atvise_Advanced_Dashboard_Official_Export
    • Download zip file and uncompress.
  2. Import the Dashboard Library
    • Open atvise Builder
      • You can work with a fresh new project or an exiting one.  (If you are working with an existing project we recommend to make a backup first).
      • Go to "Version Control"
        • Import Project
          • Browse the folder where you stored the downloaded files.
          • Select the "Objects_de5236e" folder.
          • Click Select
          • Click OK
          • Wait for the import process to finish.


Create the main display


Add Dashboard Control Menu


  1. Login to atvise Builder
    • Go to MyServer
      • Displays
        • Main
          • Double click to edit Main display
  2. Elements in Library - PROJECT
    • The elements imported in Library - PROJECT - Object Displays - Advanced Dashboards:  are the elements required for the dashboard Library to work properly
  3. Navigate to element in Objects Displays
    • Advanced Dashboards
      • Advanced Dashboard Menu  -  DRAG and DROP this element into the Main display.
  4. Parameters for "Dashboard Menu"
    • For a detailed description of the parameters please refer to the Advanced_Dashboard_Menu parameters
    • Please set a name for the "DashboardID" parameter
      • For this example "MyDashboard" will be the unique name.
      • All other parameters can be used as default.


Add Dashboard Chart Object

  1. Navigate to element in Objects Displays
    • Advanced Dashboards
      • Advanced Dashboard Chart Element  -  DRAG and DROP this element into the Main display.
  2. Parameters for "Dashboard Chart Element"
  3. For a detailed description of the parameters please refer to the Advanced_Dashboard_Chart_Element parameters
  4. Please set parameter "DashboardID" with the same name as the Dashboard Menu.


This initial setup for the main display will get the configuration needed to start creating your different types of charts.

Add Dashboard Number Element


  1. Navigate to element in Objects Displays
    • Advanced Dashboards
      • Advanced Dashboard Number Element 2  -  DRAG and DROP this element into the Main display.
  2. Parameter for "Dashboar Number Element"
  3. For a detailed description of the parameters please refer to the Advanced_Dashboard_Number Element parameters
  4. Please set parameter "DashboardID" with the same name as the Dashboard Menu.


This initial setup for the main display will get the configuration needed to start creating your different types of charts.

Simulated variables for examples


When importing the dashboard library, simulation nodes will be imported in the "Objects" these simulation nodes can be used to create charts.

Processing Time Input UnitThe time unit used for the interval calculations in data processing
Category SelectionSection
Category TypeNote: Categories are used by the chart elements to separate the data into intervals or categories
  • AllData-DateTime: no interval separation, all the data in the time span will be into 1 single interval.
  • Interval-Custom Text: if selected you will define a Custom Category to separate the data in categories.
  • Interval-CustomInterval: If selected you will define your own interval lenght and interval time units to separate your data into intervals.
  • Interval-Dynamic: The interval will be set automatically
  • Interval-Histogram: This interval is only used for Histogram charts and is required to set the histogram categories.
  • Single-Simple: This interval will set only 1 interval and only 1 value in the interval. 
Category Round UpIf true the dashbar will round up the category initial time
Custom Interval LengthUsed if you select Interval-CustomInterval this will be the interval lenght, according with the interval unit
Custom Interval UnitUsed in combination with Custom Interval Unit to set the correct time units
Category Time OffsetThis is an offset in the interval units to start the category with that x ammount of offset.

OEEIDUsed for OEE elements only, all OEE chart elements must have this ID.
Availability Counter NodeThe Node from which availability value will be read.
Productivity Counter NodeThe Node from which the productivity value will be read.
Quality Counter NodeThe Node from which the quality value will the read.
Production Speed Method
  • Fixed Speed: the machine has a fixed production speed
  • Variable Speed: the machie speed will be variable in time.
  • Expected Units counter
Production fixed speedIf Fixed Speed is selected this value will be the set fixed speed.
Production variable speed nodeIf Variable Speed was selected this will be the Node from which the speed will be read.
Production Expected Units Counter NodeIf Expected Units Counter was selected this will be the  Production Expected Unit Counter Node.

Planned Downtime Method

This affects the productivity and availability calculations

  • None: no programmed downtime
  • PlannedEnum:  Used Global List
  • PlannedCounter: If you have a node that counts the downtime it can be selected
Planned Downtime EnumIf Planned Enum method is selected this is the enum list configured for the Planned Downtime
Planned Downtime Counter NodeIf Planned Counter method is selected thiis will be the Planned downtime node.

Data Processing Type Table


Processing NameExplanation
Simple - NoneThis calculation will use the time range in the chart and will return all the values in the time range.
Single Point Last ValueThis calculation will use the time range in the chart and will return only the last value in the time range.
Single Point First ValueThis calculation will use the time range in the chart and will return only the first value in the time range.
Single Point MaxThis calculation will use the time range in the chart and will return only the maximum value in the time range.
Single Point MinThis calculation will use the time range in the chart and will return only the minimum value in the time range.
Interval - AdditionThis calculation requires an Interval definition configured in the Category Type.
This calculation will use the interval configured within the time range.
This calculation will return the addition of all the values in the interval, during the time range.
Example:
- TimeRange: 60 minutes.
- Interval: 10 minutes.
- Result: 6 values, each value will be the addition of the values for 10 minutes interval, during 60 minutes range.
Interval - AverageThis calculation requires an Interval definition configured in the Category Type.
This calculation will use the interval configured within the time range.
This calculation will return the average of all the values in the interval, during the time range.
Example:
- TimeRange: 60 minutes.
- Interval: 10 minutes.
- Result: 6 values, each value will be the average of the values for 10 minutes interval, during 60 minutes range.
Interval - CountChangesThis calculation requires an Interval definition configured in the Category Type.
This calculation will use the interval configured within the time range.
This calculation will return the number of changes in the value for the interval, during the time range.
Example:
- TimeRange: 60 minutes.
- Interval: 10 minutes.
- Result: 6 values, each value will be number of times the value changed in a 10 minutes interval, during 60 minutes range.
Interval - CountTimeOffThis calculation requires an Interval definition configured in the Category Type.
This calculation will use the interval configured within the time range.
This calculation will return the ammount of time the value was "FALSE" or "0" for a Boolean variable, in the intervals during the time range
Example:
- TimeRange: 60 minutes.
- Interval: 10 minutes.
- Result: 6 values, each value will be the ammount of time the variable was "False"  for 10 minutes interval, during 60 minutes range.
Interval - CountTimeOnThis calculation requires an Interval definition configured in the Category Type.
This calculation will use the interval configured within the time range.
This calculation will return the ammount of time the value was "TRUE" or "1" for a Boolean variable, in  the intervals during the time range
Example:
- TimeRange: 60 minutes.
- Interval: 10 minutes.
- Result: 6 values, each value will be the ammount of time the variable was "True"  for 10 minutes interval, during 60 minutes range.
Interval - DifferenceThis calculation requires an Interval definition configured in the Category Type.
This calculation will use the interval configured within the time range.
This calculation will return the difference between the last value and the first value, in the intervals during the time range
Example:
- TimeRange: 60 minutes.
- Interval: 10 minutes.
- Result: 6 values, each value will be the difference between the last value and the last value for 10 minutes interval, during 60 minutes range.

Interval - IntegrationThis calculation requires an Interval definition configured in the Category Type.
This calculation will use the interval configured within the time range.
This calculation will return the integration value (area below the curve) in the intervals during the time range
Example:
- TimeRange: 60 minutes.
- Interval: 10 minutes.
- Result: 6 values, each value will the area below the curve (integration) 10 minutes interval, during 60 minutes range.
