How to Rename My vNode

Renaming your vNode is a straightforward process, but it requires administrator access to make the necessary changes. Follow these detailed steps to modify your vNode’s name without any issues.

Step 1: Log into vNode

First, access vNode using your administrator credentials. This will allow you to make configuration changes within the system.

Step 2: Navigate to the Configuration Panel

Once logged in, follow these steps to locate the renaming option:

  1. In the Navigation panel, go to the Config option.
  2. Within the Explorer panel, find and select the Links section.

Step 3: Change the Node Name

At the top of the Links panel, you will find a field labeled Node Name.

  1. Click on the Node Name field and enter the new name you want to assign to your vNode.
  2. Make sure to enter the name correctly, as this identifier will be used within the network and system connections.

Step 4: Save Changes and Restart

After entering the new name:

  1. Click the Save button to apply the changes.
  2. vNode will automatically restart to apply the new name.

Once the system restarts, your vNode will display the updated name across all interfaces and configurations.
